Sometimes it becomes hard for preparing for the job interview. If you are fresher, it becomes even more difficult. Initial Research:

Before going for an interview, research about the organization. Keep a short and perfect answer for the question like: What do you know about this company? Knowledge of year of establishment, products, recent development etc. this makes a good impression on interviewer showing your interest in the company.

Roles and responsibility:

Be aware of the roles and responsibility of the position you are applying for. And gather all the information regarding that role and prepare accordingly. If you are going for a technical interview, make sure you ready for the questions that are commonly asked for that particular job profile. Take help from your friends and relatives who are into that role.

Be confident:

This is most important thing. You win your half battle in interview, if you are confident. confidence is  judged by your attitude, body language, eye contact, tone of voice and posture while your interview session. So keep these things in mind when you go for your next interview.

Communication:

Communication includes listening and answering. Listen to questions carefully don’t make the interviewer to repeat things, its okay if you do it once, but doing it for every question would make a negative impression. Other things that comes under communication are:

Have a good command over English. (This is basic thing needed for any interview in today’s world)

Don’t interrupt; let the interviewer finish talking first.

Answers accurately, don’t make the stories.

Avoid unprofessional words and slangs.

Say No:

It’s no harm to say No! If you don’t know answer to some of questions just be honest. Interviewer do not expects you to be a Google to know almost everything. It’s always a best option to say no, instead of wasting your time on thinking and giving false answers.

Ask Question:

We always look for the answers for the question which we couldn’t answer during interview – we ask friends, or we choose web to find them. But if you think, answers to that question may not be available on web as well, politely ask for the answer to interviewer, this shows your interest in learning. Yes, but never make fun of yourself by querying them for simple questions.

You can also ask questions related to the company and its functions if you are unsure about it. This would also help you to decide, if its good decision for you to go for that company if you are shortlisted.

Interviews can make anyone feel a little uneasy, but with the right preparation and mindset, you can walk in with confidence and leave a lasting impression. Remember, it’s not just about answering questions, it’s about showcasing your strengths, connecting with the interviewer, and demonstrating why you’re the right fit.
